Me and my husband just recently purchased our first house and realized we were in desperate need of blinds. I shopped around through a cupple different places and met Jodie with Budget Blinds in Tigard. She was very friendly and seemed to have good prices. I decided to go through her because she said it would only take approximetley 2 weeks after I give her 1/2 the money down to order them. It has been over 2 months since she took our money ($1,300) and now she will not return my calls. Throughout this time I have called several times inquiring about our blinds. On the few times I have been able to reach her she has given me a story blaming the manufacturer. At least 3 times she has said in conversation that she would call me right back and I receive no call. One time she claimed to be on the other line with the company who had the blinds and said she would call me right back. I did not hear from her for almost a week. I have called and left several messages on her company phone and also on her cell phone and I still have not received a call. This amount of money was alot for us to dish out and the fact that she has had our money and doesn't even have the respect to return our calls seems very shady to me. What makes this even more difficult is Budget Blinds is a franchise and she is the owner of that Budget Blinds. I can not go over her head to get this resolved and I am exremely frustrated. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company and the extreme lack of customer service is somthing I have never seen!! I don't know why she would not keep in contact with us knowing how upset we are. All we want is our blinds.
