I've dined at the Village Tavern several times and have enjoyed each meal. One time my friend ordered their seafood soup and she discovered some hollow shrimp tails in the soup. The chef was mortified and made it right with her, which she really appreciated. Their desserts are good and their wine selection is fabulous. Hammondsport is a quaint little village, and the Village Tavern certainly adds to the appeal of the town.
