I was interested in one of the online positings listed for this firm (it was even one with a fee!) and I contacted the representative the ad said had the listing. I was interested in this listing because a couple of months ago, the condo that was listed was for sale and my boyfriend LOVED it. We were not however, in love with the price. It would seem neither are other buyers as it has remained unsold up to this incident. When I saw it on Rapid Realty's website priced in a range I could afford, I jumped right on it. I called and had three separate conversations with D'Anthony whose cell phone came up Trevor on my caller ID. He confirmed the information. I agreed to see the condo with him. When I arrived at the condo PICTURED in the ad, I was told to go over two buildings. I was not happy. The ad I responded to was written for a ""penthouse, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a washer/dryer, a patio and an elevator "". The fee was one month's rent. When I arrive I was surprised to find that my broker thought I was imbecilic enough to believe the second floor walkup with Washer/dryer hookup, one bathroom and no patio was the same unit. His answer? Well someone must have just copied and pasted another listing over by accident. So I said, Fine, where's the number for the broker that listed the one you copied? He called the office and said that it was an error. How do you mistakenly copy a listing that isn't yours and put it on your website? He didn't even offer to apologize which pretty much sealed the deal for me on the fact that he had every intention of trying to pawn me off on a completely different apartment.
Pros: Couldn't say
Cons: Inadequate job performance, blatant attempt to defraud
