My sister received service from Sleek in New York City & was happy with the service. The woman who consulted her was very informative, enthusiastic and available. I decided to take on a similar procedure (smart lipo on my upper arms and shoulder area) shortly after my sister's procedure. Well, due to my position as a nurse practitioner, I decided against it last minute for professional reasons and wanted a refund on my initial deposit of $2,500. It is now late September, 2008. I asked for the refund in July. I was told my refund would take place in two weeks after I declined the procedure. Since July, I have checked my credit card statement and no refund (credit) was initialized on my card. I called Sleek and the person who I spoke to refuses to return my phone calls, avoids my calls and claims it wasn't her fault that i didn't get my refund. Rather, the chief financial officer is holding all refunds until the end of september & she is relaying all emails & complaints to this financial officer.
