As I was reading georgeanda's review of Bahay Kubo. I noticed that it was posted 6 years ago. It left them a bad taste of a nice Filipino restaurant. I've been eating here for the past 2 years and for $ 5.99 (dinner or lunch is the same price) a plate combo (two course meal and rice) with some free soup, I belive they have given people in the area, substantial value for their money. Would I bring a hot date to impress, maybe not. This is a fast food (turo turo) restaurant and people just want to eat and leave maybe on their break from work or too lazy to cook. What I like about bahay kubo is , it brings me the ambiance of a Philippine traditional turo turo restaurant with varieties of food and knick knacks on the side such as turon (banana roll), kamote cue, delicacies etc. For the most part, I like cooking my own food but if people are in a hurry and would like to get their quick fix of a Filipino meal, I recommend this place and maybe they can even catch a show of wowowie while they eat their food. By the way, the staff are very friendly.
