I like Greek food and happened into this place one day spontaneously for lunch by myself--not on anyone's recommendation, but just because I was in the mood for a Greek salad. Well, the smell that greeted me when I entered was tantalizing, so my expectations rose immediately. When I sat down, I was presented with a plate of warm seasoned pita bread and some delicious lentil salad with chopped olives and feta. What a nice touch! And then my salad with grilled chicken arrived. It was delicious too! A lot of other people seem to like this place, because it was very busy with eat-in lunch customers, takeout orders, and deliveries. I chatted briefly with the owner, who came here from Greece several years ago. He's a young, charming guy and the very picture of energetic health... that may explain the presence of fresh fish and lighter entrees on the specials board, as well as the tried-and-true standards like saganaki and the ever-popular gyro. I've been back several times and have always been happy with the food. For appetizers I highly recommend the chicken soup, eggplant salad, hummus, and spinach pie. For entrees, the tilapia, Greek salad, and grilled veggies in a pita with yogurt sauce. For dessert, the rice pudding and custard pie are both homemade and outrageously good!
Pros: Generous portions, great food, nice atmosphere
Cons: None unless you dislike the Greek pop videos that play on a screen
