Our entire family (2 adults and 3 little girls) was trapped in Turks and Caicos due to the airport being shut down from hurricane Hanna for 3 days. Hurricane Ike was scheduled to destroy the island 2 days later as a category 4 hurricane. The hotel manager at Beaches told everyone to leave the island because he had to start boarding up the hotel and filling sandbags. Everyone left on the island would have to get up to the second floor of the main building and start to pray! The airport was closed, all flights had been cancelled, and there was no way out! Arleen helped us get seats back on an emergency flight that was added at the last second. She was willing to call American Airlines from home at midnight if necessary! We have used many travel agents in the past, but none really cared like Arleen cares. Even our friends in Atlanta, GA are using Arleen now! Need we say more?
