I would not recommend ID for garbage pickup. Their truck is designed to pick up 2 cans which have to be lined up in a specific position. One week I had a little more garbage then what the 2 bags could hold so I had 3 bags lying on top of the cans. Instead of the man getting out of his truck to throw 3 cans in the truck, he picked up one can which knocked the bags on the ground. He left the bags on the ground next to a full can. I consider this a lazy worker. When I called customer service, they informed me that they would be out the same day to pick up the garbage. When I called later in the afternoon to see if they were still coming I was told that the person should not have told me that. The customer service lady told me it takes 24 hours therefore it would be the next day. When I contacted them the next day around 1 o'clock to confirm that they were coming. I was put on hold and was accused of having yard waste in my can. She asked me to go through my can to check for yard waste and then call her back. She would not give me a time when they would pick up my garbage. She accused me of yelling at her. I explained that I had already made 3 phone calls (not to mention I've been given 3 different answers) and that I was not yelling at her, but I was upset. I told her I wanted to cancel my service and then she put me on hold for such a long time that I hung up. I had to make a 4th phone call to be told that they would pick up my cans the next scheduled pickup date (almost a whole week away). Needless to say, their customer service is poor. Their rates are no less then their competitors. I must also mention that I had always paid my bill on time so I only expected them to pick up my garbage on time. Instead of them addressing their lazy worker, they made false accusations toward me. I never received an apology from anyone at ID.
