Kevin Mullins at Aadvanced Aair is an unprofessional, egotistical bully. He tested my house at 20 picos. He was scheduled to install the system. Man shows up (not Kevin). Installs the system. Who to write check to - a totally different company??? "subcontractor/scheduling problem" I'm told. Never told I was to do follow up testing. Received test kit in the mail from Kevin- did it. Sent it off. Never heard back. Assumed no problems. 4 yrs later. Comment from a plumber that radon system "doesn't look right". Never seen one like it but he's not a radon guy he emphasizes. Investigate. Kevin has had numerous problems/complaints with Dept of Health and EPA. Guy who showed to my appt w/Kevin shows a business address of the railway shipping yard! His system was in violation of about 6 EPA codes. Kevin becomes very aggressive when confronted with this information. Comes onto our property uninvited to inspect the system and blames a 3rd company. I had never even given him my last name or address- assume he used caller Id and Google. He became very beligerant and screamed at me about his license when I simply told him the Dept of Health database shows it as expired since 1996!!! His beef was w/THEM but he proceeded to call me and my fiancee 8 times within 5 minutes leaving nasty messages despite being told repeatedly very politely) we did not wish to do business with him and to stop calling. I went to file police report for phone harassment. He had already called THEM within 4 hours of his barrage of calls to us saying WE were harassing HIM?! We called him 1 time! Police told him to back off. I had to buy a whole new system ($900) and I'm working with the Atty Gen'l/ Dept of Health on how the public can be better informed on what is involved with the radon licensing. Avoid Kevin - he's a nasty bully with a questionable licensing background. There are other companies with NO complaints to do your radon work. Search the OH Dept of Health site yourself.
