Was so looking forward to the facial appointment that I had set after having heard and read nice things about LaBella. I could not have been more disappointed in this service, and this was by FAR not my first rodeo!! I was very disappointed when the aesthetician launched right into a facial routine without even turning the light on to look at my skin!! I've NEVER had someone not do an evaluation of my skin before or make her own observations/comments about what "issues" I have with my skin! How does one know the right service to provide without doing an initial evaluation/consultation that goes beyond one question "what issues do you have with your skin that you want to improve?" Professionals should actually LOOK at clients' skin!!! I was most disappointed that nearly the entire hour I was with this person I was being subjected to a sales pitch! Products, services, products, services, products and if you buy this package today we can offer you a discount and a gift certificate...ugh!!! I just want to get thru today and feel like you actually CARE about me and my having an enjoyable salon experience so I'll WANT to come back, rather than so blatantly attempting to use me to line your pockets with commission money!! I was sooooooo dissapointed and needed to have this time to enjoy and relax. This person clearly has a difficult time understanding the need to establish rapport with a client before launching into major sales pitches right out of the gate!!! Needless to say, I will not return, but will go back to the place where I receive the appropriate, professional and OTT-sales-pitch-free salon experience that I expect to receive. I'm up for purchasing all kinds of salon products and services once I've been a time or two more and you have earned my trust first! I'd like to see for myself in the coming days that what you've recommended that I purchase actually works. That takes a few days after the initial visit to ascertain!
