If you care about the well being of your dog, do not bring him or her to this day care!
I have used them several times for doggie day care and was very satisfied. over the past couple of months, my dog and i have built a relationship with the day care manager and the groomer. my dog loved it there so much that she would tug on the leash to get inside! she loved the girls there and barely noticed when i would walk out the door because she was too busy playing with her familiar friends! once in awhile i would have her bathed or groomed and the groomer that they hired a couple of months ago did a fantastic job! i was so happy that I'd finally found a full-service spa where everyone loved my dog!
Unfortunately, things have changed. In the last week the staff has changed and the woman who manages the place now is incompetent and rude. I had noticed the owners were a little rude but dealt with it because I really liked the employees. This new day care/groomer treats my dog like a burden she has to bear, she puts her in one of the rooms with a few other dogs and pays no attention to her. She doesn't play with her and doesn't seem to know what she's been doing during her stay there. I am skeptical she ever gets walked now and I don't get the feeling that dogs are her passion like the girls that used to work there. This new woman doesn't talk to my dog when she arrives, it's straight into the room and not gently, I might add. I have witnessed how this woman (I think her name is Tammy or Tina, something starting with a "T") is rough with the dogs. One of the owners is there a lot now and when walking up to the door I have heard him screaming at the dogs to shut up and stop barking (isn't this a doggie day care?!). I'd hate to see how he treats them when no one is around!
These are not people I would leave my best friend with. There is a Doggie Daycare up the street who will now be getting my business! It's sad to see this place go downhill so fast.
Pros: Cute place
Cons: Rude staff and owners, not dog lovers, dogs are locked in rooms and not played with
