Preets - Uncooked food and food gone bad served 8/9/2008

I used to frequent this place and yesterday I took my family from out of town there hoping for a great dinner. Even though I had noticed the fall in standards in the quality of food in the last few visits, I wanted to believe that they were probably those one off days. But yesterdays visit has left a very bad taste in my mouth. The paneer pakoras were uncooked. WE could taste the chickpea four in the pakoras. In the main course, we were actually served food that had gone bad. I had ordered for Saag and makki ki roti. The saag had gone bad and the makki ki roti was uncooked. Again, I could taste and see the uncooked corn flour in the makki roti. I think what took the cake was when I told them about the uncooked roti, they took my rotis in (I had taken couple bites from the roti), reheated it and brought it back. As you can imagine, when you reheat rotis, they become papads (stiff crispies). They took all the feedback but charged us for the food we ordered but couldn't eat. I had heard bad reviews about the place lately but now they have lost me as a customer. Pros: Ambience Cons: Uncooked food and food gone bad more
