This is a great doctors office...if you plan on having a child who never gets sick or needs assistance. If your child only needs immunizations, this office is fine--very impersonal, but fine. I foolishly gave this doctors office a second chance after they failed to call me back about questions regarding my daughters admittance to the hospital. My daughter happens to have a condition that can sometimes be serious and need medical attention quickly. Recently, my family and I were out of town and my daughter needed medical assistance. I called the after hours on-call number to speak with the doctor to get the prescription we needed so that our daughter could breathe. I left a message with the operator, who pages the doctor and never heard from them again. I ended up spending thousands at the ER, which could have been prevented had I went to a pediatrician who cared. After returning from our trip, I contacted the office manager to inform her of the problem. She was going to check out the situation and tell me what had happened. I never heard back from her either. Island Coast Pediactrics is a doctors office who is more concerend with cramming as many doctors and patients in one building to make more money than they are the actual patient. I would never recomend this office to anyone!!
Pros: can get in to see doctor
Cons: doctors don't take time to get to know kids, don't take kids conditions seriously, staff is disorganized, does not call back messages, very impersonal
