When my mom wanted to visit for a year, so we arranged for her to live at Charleston Gardens. She loved it. The staff were so friendly. They went out of their way to take mom to local places mom would not see 'back home!' The park by the river, the changing colors, New River Bridge. The place is always clean and very homey. There is a living room area with sofas, chairs and a table with a puzzle. When we didn't want to sit in mom's apartment, we would sit in the living room. There are lots of activities-bingo, cards, special holiday events, church activities. Mom would like to come back.
