Several months ago I was hospitalized after an injury and had to have surgery. First of all, the hospital could not find any of my previous records, although I've been there several times, and had 4 previous surgeries there. This was just the beginning of several mishaps during my 12 day stay. I will say that 95% of the nursing staff was wonderful. The biggest problem was that they don't have enough staff to handle the patients, and many times when I pushed the call button I had to wait quite a while before someone came to the room. This nursing shortage does need to be addressed!
