In the beginning of my experience at this dr's office, I thought I was being overlooked. During my pregnancy Dr.Walker hired 2 nurse practitioners which are both FABULOUS, to help with her overwhelming amount of patients. The reason the wait used to be so long was because she had developed such a good reputation that many wanted her care and attention. The staff is so caring and does everything they can to accomodate scheduling and answer any questions you may have. (pregnant women ALWAYS have questions!) If something is wrong and Dr.Walker feels you may need a second opinion, she will not hesitate to send you to a specialist (unlike some drs who are too prideful). I have been high risk the entire pregnancy and have been kept on a VERY close watch,especially here at the end. I absolutely LOVE Betsy (the nurse practioner who also sees patients), along with Denise (the best nurse in the world) and Holly. This practice genuinely cares about your well being and does everything they can to give you the best care during your pregnancy and post-partum.
