I have seen various chiropractors over the last 20 years. Reluctantly, I went to dr. Warkentin's clinic after a bad experience with my previous doctor. I have had many cortizone shots and facet blocks these past 2 years. They worked temporarily. Dr. Warkentin sent me out for a new MRI and got me in in less than an hour. 2 hours later he had a full report from the MRI center. He explained that I had 3 herniated lumbar discs. 2 mild and one moderate. This is why I was in pain and that the shots were really a temporary fix. He explained that he works with an anesthesiologist for patients that need pain management during the repair of a painful disc problem but further went on to tell me that ""if"" the shot works, it is simply dulling the pain and not correcting the problem. He prescribed a certain amount of treatments on a decompression table designed especially for the type of problem that I had. Long story short, it has been 4 weeks now with no additional shots and an aggressive care plan. I am for the most part 100% pain free for the first time in 10 years. I have learned what to lift and what not to lift as well as how. Dr. Warkentin really is a champion in his field. His knowledge and the way he communicates it to his patients is astonishing. I would like to thank him and his lovely staff for caring about me the way one would care for his child. If you are reading this review and are looking for a chiropractor look no further, I gurantee that you are entering the right place. Not to mention he also has dental, medical and rehab all at one facility with a bunch of associate doctors that also work there.
