Avoid at All Costs if You Care about the safety of your kids! 8/19/2008

Not a good place for a child to learn - poor teaching. Injuries common and instructors periodically kick their students ""accidentally"". This is plain poor martial arts teaching. I have attending their sparring classes and was shocked to see the complete lack of camaraderie among boys age 8-11. They try to injure each other and you often see boys hitting each other in the shoulder and taking other cheap shots. The instructors reffing the match don't care and don't stop them. It's a joke. Maybe this is how Lee, a Korean immigrant, and his Korean immigrant teachers who he pays $8 an hour were taught, but who cares? This is the US and there is no room for a second rate dojang like this, even if you have ""authentic"" Koreans teaching your kid bad taekwondo. P.S., If you're not Korean, expect to be treated like a second class citizen here and Master Lee bends over backward to kiss Korean butt. And the dumb Americans, clueless about the poor teaching and lack of respect being displayed, just keep making the monthly payments. Pros: Convenient Locations and Hours Cons: Poor Instruction, Greedy Owner, Lots of Kids Who Don't Want to Be There but parents signed the 1year nonrefundable contract more
