My husband and I tried Primo's a bit after moving into the area. I thought it would be a nice place to have an occasional romantic dinner. When I called for reservations for a Saturday evening, i was told that the only opening was 6:30. It was a bit early but we decided to take this time. When we arrived, the place was nearly empty, with only two other occupied tables. Despite this fact, they seated us right next to a family with children. I don't really mind children dining out but since my hubby and I were having a romantic dinner we would have liked a more private table. It is a huge pet peeve when restaurants do this - seat people right next to each other when they have plenty of space. \r

The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the things I ordered - they were not outstanding but good. My husband felt that eveything he ordered was only so-so, especially compared to the other steakhouses in the area. When you pay steakhouse prices, you expect food to that level. The waitstaff was somewhat attentive but not really to the level of a pricier place. \r

What really got us irritated is that by the time we were leaving (over an hour later), the place still was not more than half full. That was the time I originally asked for reservations and was told that they were full. Since when is having only half the tables occupied full? It was as if they just wanted to fill seats at an early, less busy time. \r

We do not intend to go back. Primo's was OK but I can name other places at that price level with much better food and MUCH better customer service.
Pros: Food was pretty good
Cons: Customer service was not great
