I also live in Casa De Amigos, I firmly agree that the park grounds are clean and well kept. The problem isn't the power outages, the water outages or the super clean grounds. The problem is that management along with her very dedicated group of followers are a discriminating group. It is very clear to see that even though they try to disguise their contempt for families by doing halloween parties and christmas gift for the children, in all honesty their hearts aren't really in it. The grounds are always saturated so the children cannot play on them. The gardener himself has told me the reason they do it is because Ann Olsen has stated she doesn't want the children playing on it. I have been in customer service for a very long time, I also own properties elsewhere and never would I treat my tenants they way Ann Olsen treats her tenants. I have never been rude, abrupt or harsh with Ann or any of her staff, yet somehow no matter what manner I approach them in, the response is always rude. When my family and I first moved in various neighbors had this joke about how they were waiting for ann to ""kick the bucket"" a horrific thing to say about any person. Although I do not agree with that comment it is sad to say that I see where they come from. Very smart of her though to get her friends to write good reviews on her. But the bottom line is none of the people in this park older than 50 ever wanted this to become an all age park and it urks you that families with children are moving in. frankly we need to start working together , or in the end a nice little law suit will ensue due to the fact that families don't really seem to be welcomed here. Trust me Ken has already stated that isn't where they want to end up. But after all we do live in california and the families in this park will most likely win. I've gotten wind of a lovely little petition going around, and it doesn't look good for Ann if it makes it to court. In the end we pay for our sins in this lifetime.
Pros: clean community
Cons: not family friendly
