The location is absolutely beautiful, which is why my husband and I decided to have our wedding at Emma's. However, our decision turned out to be a nightmare! The Inn keeper was happy to take our money, but the services received were horrible. Three different women were answering the phones at different times and scheduling appointments without writing them down in a calendar, which caused a lot of stress, confusion, and double booking of my bridal suite. In fact, the Inn scheduled a last minute memorial service in the middle of our wedding rehearsal with no consideration to our wedding party (this was after the Inn had asked me to reschedule our rehearsal THREE times!). The morning of our ceremony the Inn gave the lawn where our ceremony was taking place a heavy soaking of water leaving behind muddy grass for everyone to enjoy. Guests who wore heels including our wedding party were literally sinking into the mud! I was told when booking the site the dried up flowers and foilage at the ceremony site would be replanted and or replaced and in bloom, but we had to bring in fresh flowers and plants at the last minute because the Inn didn't bother to follow through with their promise. I suppose I should have gotten that in writing! The reason we chose this location was for the outside garden setting, but we didn't realize we'd be providing the garden! Yet another added cost and undue stress. The Inn set up broken chairs in the front row for our guests to sit on! I was told by two of my vendors after we came back from our honeymoon that the Inn keeper (there were apparently three Inn keepers) was rude borderlining on harrassment towards our vendors while they were trying to get things set up. Thank God I had wonderful venders who were able to still do their jobs even with all the interfearence.
Pros: Beautiful setting
Cons: Terrible hospitality
