We decided to give a local restaurant a try on a reent Saturday night. Calypso is a very pretty restaurant with a beautiful bar. The restaurant was about 40-50% full yet very loud. Wide assortment of delcious martinis. We should have stopped there. We had an appetizer of coconut shrimp that were very obviously processed and the same ones available at Shoney's for 1/2 the cost. We had a chicken dish for entree that was again Shoney's. I know these came out of the pack from Sysco. The salad was good. \r
If we ever go back it will be for cocktails only. We really wanted to like the local non-chain establishment.
