CONS:\r
\r
Living here is something of a gamble. Some apartments are better than others. The bulidings are misrepresented as ""remodeled"" or ""fun enviroment."" Nethier of which is is accurate. While they may do patch ups close the smeisters, most of the time it's rather run down.\r
\r
The buildings are old, and even the better apartments suffer from settlement damage. In my time of living here, which has only been a few years, I have seen managers come and go quite quickly. Each new manager means new ways the building is handled, and ways rules are enforced.\r
\r
As of yet, I've not seen anything truely effective though. Service requests are not handled in a very sraight forward manner, and while the new management is more on top of things, the staff is over taxed and perhaps ill prepared. Being so close to what is now a univeristy, many of the tendents have no respect for the grounds.\r
\r
The landrymat is constantly in some sort of disrepair, even with swift replacement. Due to past theft, rent CAN NOT be paid in cash. You must use the nearby wal-mart to make a money order, or use electonic means. Notices have placed warning to watch out for car theft. Because of the universty and the wal-mart, traffic near the place is non stop and quite noisy. Police write many tickets in the region, and ambailce go by often.\r
\r
This is not a place I would recommend, but there is no denying some usefulness.\r
\r
PROS:\r
\r
Rent tends to be cheaper than surrounding locations, it does have on site landry and a coin landry mat only a block away. The walmart is across the street, and it's within walking distance of UVU. Also, utiltes are included in your rent, you get limited cable and plenty of internet.\r
\r
The floor plans, depending on your needs, aren't as crowded as many student locations, since most of the sq feet are put into the bedrooms and there is no need to be a student to live in the area. If you are a student at UVU or keep mostly to yourself, you may get some use out of this place.
Pros: Close to UVU and Walmart
Cons: noisy enviroment, old and understaffed
