After living in Naples for three years, we are always on the search for quality Italian food. We had heard that Pasta Beach had the most authentic Italian food in the area. The pizza is brilliant - authentic Neopolitan pizza with thin doughy crust and strategically placed mozzarella. The pasta is awful. The noodles are so overcooked they are soggy and the sauce is nothing like we experienced in Italy - especially the vongole. I ordered the special one night, and after the chef forgot to include the mozzarella in the sauce, they hastily sprinkled unmelted shredded cheese over the top of the dish...and, this was the special! Overall, it is a disappointing, and we've decided to keep our Pasta Beach experience to take-out pizza.
