My wife and I have been to Peak City many times for dinner and a few times for Sunday Brunch after church and each time, we can say we have enjoyed our dining experience. We love the fact that there is such a nice restaurant with great atmosphere in such a historic little piece of the Triangle. Each time we have been for dinner there has been a nice vibe in the air and the staff has always been top notch. The bar is incredible with a great wine list and an extensive microbrew selection (which changes quite frequently which is nice). I myself am a fan of a nice steak and I find PCG's filet to be one of the best in area. I like the fact that they give you many different options on how you would like it prepared (i.e. Rub, Oscar Style...). For me the only thing lacking for this place is the size. The downstairs could be a bit bigger around the bar area and the outside porch is too small for when the weather is ideal. It's too bad that the upstairs is currently renovated for office spaces, because that would be a great space for an open air Bar/Lounge.\r
Also, if they could find a good local DJ to come in once in awhile for a ""special night of music/dancing"" that might help created some additional atmosphere for the ""locals"".\r
Pros: Location in Historic Apex, Food, Wine/Beer Lists, Staff
Cons: Can get crowded, Not enough outdoor seating
