DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS CAR WASH!!!
On 7/30/08, I went to Studio Car Wash at approximately 5PM. I dropped off my car and returned at about 5:30PM to pick it up. Upon pickup of my car, I didn't notice anything wrong.
The attendant had my front door already opened (important detail) and greeted me to my car. I drove my car to work after that. About 6:30 PM, after work, I noticed that my driver side door handle no longer opened my car. The car is unlocked, but the driver's outside door handle does nothing. I also noticed later that my sun-shade (shade underneath the moonroof that slides back and forth) has been knocked off its tracks and does not slide at all and is stuck.
Furious, I return to Studio Car Wash, but it was closed. I returned Friday to talk to the manager, Roger about my issues. He refuses to believe anything I say.
I point out that my car was fine before I took it to the car wash, and if the driver side door handle didn't work, the employee would surely notice, as he would have to enter through the passenger side. I also pointed Roger to the damaged sun shade.
Roger insisted he was not the cause of this damage. He told me he's work there ""15 years"" without incident. Better Business records show different. The store has had 3 UNANSWERED complaints with the Better Business in the last year alone. Roger says he ""nobody reads that stuff.""
He blatantly lied that he was at the store Wednesday until 7:30PM. I was there at 6:30 and he wasn't.
He then offered to watch the surveillance videos, but later on said my ""issue"" is not worth him watching it. He then said he doesn't care if I tell my friends not to come to his wash. ""Go ahead and post on youtube or whatever, its a free country.""
I tried to reach an agreement with Roger, but after talking to him, I can see he had no intentions of accepting responsibility. All I get are brush-offs and lies.
Do not deal with this car wash. They don't even do a good job of washing.
Pros: Cheap prices, has ice cream for sale.
Cons: Management is rude and lies, broke my car and denied it, refused to watch tape.
