I have been walking by this cafe to and fro for the last year. I do not know why it has taken me so long to finally drop in and have dinner...it was truly excellent! I come from an italian family and when I say Roberto & staff know how to make great Italian cuisine, they KNOW how to make great Italian cuisine. Delicioso! They have a solid - and quite affordable - menu with an array of choices to satisfy you...We ordered a special Bruscette for the appetizer (although they provide you with one complimentary as well) and then two entrees: the lobster ravioli in pesto/walnut sauce special and grilled jumpo shrimp w/yummy zucchini, etc.. Both were prepared to perfection and exactly the right flavor...Mmmm mmmm. One of the standouts of this restaurant is the service - they are extra-attentive without being annoying. The owner waits on you himself at times and is so friendly and welcoming, you can't wait to come back. The space also has a fresh feeling to it (we sat inside, though they have an outside garden too) and were quite comfortable. The only one criticism I had from our meal, was the tiramisu dessert we ordered. It didn't seem fresh...not sure what happened there, but I have a feeling it was the exception not the norm. All in all, a delicious family kitchen - definitely go and visit Roberto's!!!
Pros: Authentic, tasty italian dishes; under the radar location; great service, they take credit cards!
Cons: dessert could be improved
