About half way through the meal I noticed that a piece of my rice had legs...turned out it was not rice! I quietly notified the owner and she reluctantly took my entree off the bill. My two dining companions who were eating the same entrees were expected to pay for their food even though they had both seen the insect. She finally agreed to comp the entire bill, which was only appropriate since none of us ate anyway. One of my co-workers was dining in the restaurant as we left and she told me that after we left, the owner continued to complain loudly about us. She also indicated that she was going to boycott the company I work for. Bottom line? Unprofessional, rude and not customer oriented at all! Save your money and catch your own insects for dinner!
