For my entire adult life, I've gone to the big name dealers for tires and always questioned if I got a good deal or was being taken for a ride. On a friend's suggestion, I tried K&K Tires. This is an unusual place. For one thing it's off the beaten path, you're not going to see a sign. Even when I found it I did a double-take. The place is a run down old house. For service you drive around back. If you're looking for a nice showroom, clean facility or even indoor workshop...go someplace else. If you're looking for a rock bottom price and a quality job of installing tires, go here. I paid well below the competition and had my tires on in record time. The staff seems to be comprised of two salesmen barking orders in brokern-Spanish to a handful of workers. These guys could be a pit crew at a Nascar race. The salesmen are helpful and know their tires. I've been there several times and they seem to remember people, nice touch. The manager has a bit of an attitude, but remember this isn't Sears or NTB. I even bring my BMW here, if I want a specific tire they'll order it. My only warning, don't go in the rain. They work outdoors and the waiting room (if you can call it that) is dirty and chaotic. People running in and out with tires, a small counter area with cash being handed back and forth and no place to sit...which means standing out in the rain while your car is being worked on. But for fast service, low prices and quality work you can't beat it.
