I am a dog owner of two, and I don't just leave my dogs with anyone. After doing extensive research of the local boarding facilities. I found only one place to entrust the care of my dogs. Golden Lake. The minute you walked into the office you wouldn't even know it was a boarding facility. Not only did it smell great and dog free and was super clean, you couldn't hear any dogs bark. But the dogs are right next to the office. The tour was wonderful and informative. The owner Rob actually gave the tour personally and is not afraid to answer any questions I had. There is music playing softly at all times and I, as a complete stranger went up and down the rows of dogs and not once did I get barked at. I guess the dogs are tired from all the exercise they get there. I know my dogs were when I got them home, but not a bad or sick tired but a I got lots of exercise tired. The ""bunks"" the dogs stay in are not concrete they are tiled walls which were goober free, and rubber matted floors they are always dry, They do not spray down the bunks and let them drain, their staff go in and scrub each bunk individually. This place is beyond pristine as far as cleanilness. The staff is amazing. The Camp Counslers are super friendly, very knowledgable about all breeds and you can just see the passion and love they have for dogs. I can't say enough great things about here. They have found a client for life. My dogs are excited when they go, I think they forget I was even there. They know they are going to have a good time. The cost is a bit higher than the local areas, but it is worth every penny knowing the quality of care is outstanding!
Pros: Great Staff, Super Clean, Spacious Bunks,Quality Care, Larger outdoor play areas
Cons: Just that I can't come and be boarded there!
