I think everyone should know that if you go to Bea's you do not have the option to browse through gowns on your own (except for the samples that are on sale) because only the salesladies are allowed in the back where the gowns are. Some people might find this more efficient, and if you do then this is probably your place. I personally think that brides should be exposed to gowns so they can narrow down what they want. Not every girl has a vision of her wedding dress from the time she's 6 years old - I know I sure didn't and it took trying on a variety of styles before I was ready to make my decision. Additionally, the saleslady that helped me was very short with me and only let me try on one dress - when I tried it on she said ""This is it! You're not going to find anything better than this!"" So much for that magical bridal experience that you deserve during this exciting time of your life. Again, I would argue that the bride is the one that calls the shots and make that determination. I am also offended when the first question out of a salesperson's mouth is ""What's your budget?"" but maybe that's just me. Obviously budget is important but budgets can be negotiated and sometimes you can find something expensive that you love and use it as a way to figure out your style.
