I had lunch at Danton's this week. I can get pretty jaded about another seafood restaurant. Being 58 I have eaten in more than a few seafood restaurants. I was served one dozen oysters to start. They were chilled to almost icey. It added to the taste of ""freshness"" and was an oustanding start. My next surprise was being offered oyster stew. I do not remember the last time a menu offered this dish. It was full of oysters(Galveston Bay) and was easily as good and maybe a better stew than I have ever had. After finishing the stew I begin to realize I was possibily going to have one of those dining experiences you always hope for but seldom get.
