I called AAA because I had gotten stuck in a mud hole that was deeper than I originally thought while property shopping. I was 0.1 miles from a paved road on a solid dirt road. I tried engaging my 4 wheel drive but was high centered so it was no use. The AAA dispatcher told me I was covered for this incident after I explained where I was in great detail. \r
Arrow Wrecker Service was called to tow me out. When they showed up they towed me about 2 feet and I was able to drive the rest of the way. They sent out a 4x4 wrecker but never engaged the 4x4 hubs, neither I or AAA asked for a 4x4. Both the wrecker and I drove in and out in 2 wheel drive. When finished the driver told me I had to pay $125 because AAA would not cover the tow. They told me AAA will not cover a tow more than 10 feet from a paved road. AAA said later that this is not at all true. I paid because I was sort of on the spot and felt, at the time, that AAA had given me wrong information. I called both Arrow and AAA a few ti
