Reserved for the more mature, financially capable, adult population, the spa is staffed by licensed professionals who offer everything from organic body scrubs and full body massages to hot stone treatments and seaweed wraps. They are knowledgeable, gracious, and work to maintain a calm, responsible, and clean environment. Discounts are available on occasion like my favorite couple?s $40 half hour massage and the sometimes inexpensive jazz show at The Melting Point. The adjoining Inn is upscale and a great place to get away for a quick weekend. The entire compound is located across from the Athens Welcome Center, so if you?re unfamiliar to the city, information is only a few steps away. I received a gift certificate for Christmas that allowed me to enjoy a body scrub and 1 ? hour deep tissue massage?it ran about $145. Yet the prices vary and change frequently so when you make your appointment, ask about specials, rates, and weekend packages.
