Cafe Blue has very good seafood, but I find it to be overpriced. The crab cakes were small, but delicious and had a large amount of crab rather than breading. In addition the stuffed shrimp were great, but for $25 you only get four (and they weren't big) I enjoy smaller portions, but would rather pay a smaller portion price. I would say around 15-20 dollars would have been more appropriate. The service really wasn't all that great. Some friends ordered some very expensive drinks made with 100 year old Grand Marnier and figured that would at least get us some good service. Nope. Our waitress, along with other waitstaff were sitting at the bar rolling silverware and basically ignoring us. When she did come to our table it was like she was in a hurry to get back to what she was doing. My husband made a good point and said that the waitress made a forty dollar tip in just an hour, but people that give better service elsewhere make five. Overall great food, high prices, bad service
Pros: delicious seafood, nice lake view
Cons: I've had better service at diners
