pros:
The inside of the salon and spa is beautiful, mostly all of the employees are very warm and kind.
They offered me a drink, and I received a nice neck warmer while I waited.
I liked seeing that some of the hair stylists really had their own unique style, in hindsight I regret not requesting to be with one with a little more personality. Although I just got a fairly quick trim, I would have liked a little to see more confidence and personality in my stylist and maybe had a conversation. She didn't talk to me at all.
cons:
When I first walked in, people were moving shelves in the hall on the way to the salon area, it looked unprofessional to be doing that during buisness hours and was a bit awkward to squeeze by them.
I could hear shouting of inappropriate language and immature laughter on the other side of the wall in the shampoo room, although it didnt personally offend me, I was concerned it might offend others if there were elderly people or kids around.
The place smells very strongly of cinnamon, which some people may enjoy. For me it was too much, I could seriously hear somebody spraying it in excess.
The music started to annoy me, once in awhile I would like a song, but the majority sounds like it belongs in the Olive Garden. I am used to hearing edgy music that is fun and up to date in high end salons. I felt harassed by oldies. It didn't look like anyone enjoyed it, including the stylists! Personally, I just don't want to hear music from the Titanic when I am getting my haircut.
