I was impressed by Applewood's fast service and friendly, experienced, knowledged, and efficient personnel when I had them replace my water heater. Their price may initially seem a little high, but it is a total cost, for an excellent quality product, regardless of what problems they run into during installation, compared to seemingly low initial prices from others which quickly inflate as ""problems"" crop up on the job.\r

The repairman called out a second person to help him carry the old water heater out and get the new heater in -- all covered for the quoted price.\r

Their guarantee, although not yet tested, is stated as all inclusive, covering any additional labor and parts, instead of only the installed product, as is often the case.\r

I highly recommend them.

Cons: Wished they had used a slightly longer flexible gas line and leveled the heater more securely.
