I have had two horrible experiences with the Airport Pet Lodge. I am new to the area and didn't know where to take my dog to be boarded. I have a very well trained Rhodesian Ridgeback. He is short haired and big. The Airport Pet Lodge is near my husband's work, so it seemed convenient. Both times we have boarded our dog there he has come home reeking of urine, and the dog bed we took was destroyed. Like I said he is very well trained (kennel trained as well) and would not have done this to himself. I have had to board him several times at several different places, and this is by far the worst place I have ever taken him to. I have visited several different pounds, and they have all been far cleaner. We paid $15.50 a night (for four nights) and an extra $3.oo charge for a playtime each day. He was supposed to get a complimentary bath with more than a 3 night stay. Needless to say, that didn't happen. I will never have my dog boarded there again. I would recommend taking your pet somewhere (anywhere) else.\r
Pros: located close to work
Cons: unclean, poor service, not true to advertisements and promises.
