After an exhaustive back ground check from Pet Orphans (A no kill shelter) my daughter and I finally brought home Cody, a one year old Labrador. Pet Orphans had many veterinary referrals so we decided on Dr Pilch who was close by. After getting a clean bill of health from the doctor I made an appointment for a bath. Dr Pilch said that I could drop Cody off at 7:30 in the morning. \r
At 7:30 the next morning I was escorted into their waiting room. After checking in with the receptionist, a middle aged heavy set Hispanic woman came to the waiting area to get Cody. She stated that she was the back staff supervisor. I had noticed a terrible smell in the clinic and she informed me that there were puppies with parvo in the hospital. I asked her if my dog was in any danger and she said no and that their isolation room and bathing room were not in close proximity together. \r
The following day Cody seemed depressed and listless. I immediately called to make an appointment.\r
