We stayed here two weeks on a government rate with free food vouchers included. After a few visits to the restaurant we eventually just ordered the food to go instead of dining in. The service was so sad. I say sad because the staff was not directly rude or slow, but just sad. The restaurant has to have the most unhappiest staff on earth. No one smiles ...ever. Not the hostesses, not the busers, not the cooks and especially not the waitresses... they frown the most. It is like they all hate being at this place, no kidding. One girl was talking very loudly to another girl about how the hotel stiff her on her paycheck....ummm hello...... guest present...... talk somewhere else stupid. They must struggle to feed there kids with the tips they must receive for looking like such sour pusses. The food is average tasting and very overpriced. I would not come back if I had to pay full or even half price for it. The bar is o.k. but nothing spectacular it is just a bar with some pool tables, jukebox, and some TV's, but no live entertainment. The pool and hot tub are decent so is the shuffle board and surrounding landscape. The rooms are decent, but the new card key entry is a flippin' nightmare ( guests were going postal at the front desk, having to go to the front office at least twice a day to rescan their dysfunctional cards). It got so bad they had to upgrade us to a suite for free.....luckily no problems with the card key in the upgraded suite. The front desk staff is very nice for the most part and accommodating. They are pet friendly which is a plus for us. The on site liqueur store is also sweet. The gym is huge!!! So overall it is just o.k.
Pros: Pool and hot tub, gym, shuffleboard, front desk
Cons: Food service and card entry
