We signed a lease agreement with Continental over a month ago. The lease clearly stated that they must pay us within the month. We have not seen any money or have we heard from them. Every time we call them, the lady on the phone says she will have the person in charge of leases call us back....well guess what....NO PHONE CALL IS EVER RETURNED. I am beginning to wonder if this company is legit, or if it is possibly a fraud. So, if you are looking to do business like most oil companies do, in a timely manner, avoid Continental. Most companies either send the check with the lease agreement, or a check is sent within the first few weeks, after the lease is signed. Professionalism is not to be found with Continental.
