Molly Bee's was a disappointment. Martha was recommended by a close friend who used MB's for their wedding, the prices seemed reasonable, so I went with her. In our first meeting she was very opposed on the colors and ideas I had, despite the pictures I had brought from a famous bridal magazine, and incessantly interrupted with her own ideas. Eventually, with much persistence, Martha agreed to duplicate the pictures. We met 10 months prior to the wedding in order to secure the date, Martha wrote our name down, filled out a wedding sheet with what we ordered and asked us to contact her a few months before in order to review everything. I called her 3 months before the wedding, and we were no longer on the books. She agreed to do the wedding, since nothing else was booked, however it was a stressful conversation. The wedding day arrived and the bridesmaids bouquets were nothing what i described. Martha had recommended orange flowers, which I did not want, I asked for merlot colored calla liliies. The bouquets were completely orange. Incidentally, the orange flowers used were"" in season"", hence cheaper, for Martha to buy. . I paid for a dozen calla lillies on either side of my church's altar--she put 10 on each side, and charged me for the 2 dozen. The pew bows were cheap and horribly done, Martha was upset that I provided the tulle that I bought at a discount store (REVCO). The largest disappointment was the reception centerpieces. My reception vendor told me Martha planned on leaving them at the door of the venue, instead of setting them up on the table, however, my vendor insisted that was not her job. I asked for full 2 dozen merlot mini calla lillies on each of my 10 tables. I got 8 loosely place in each vase. It was pathetic. The vases looked empty. MB's is about being paid for minimal work and any requests are at Marha's discretion. Think twice about going to this store for any major event.
