Visited the Recovery Room when we ""camped"" at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Albany Medical Center. The Recovery Room is a part of this complex. As part of a 44 person bus tour, we actually ""slammed"" the RR staff when we showed up five minutes before they were scheduled to close on a quiet Sunday night. The staff had to do their own recovery to accomodate our road weary group. But they did, and they did well by us too. My table opted for a selection of appetizers and many beers. When served, these selections proved both eye appealing and tasty. Our young waitress, who was obviously taxed by the demands of our whole group, provided exemplary service in a cheerful manner. Recovery Room has the requisite flat screen TVs strategically placed throughout the common bar and dining area, and the layout of the place provides a nice pub feel by way of ambience. If we were locals, this would easily be our preferred watering hole in Albany.
