I had tried on about 35 dresses at various other boutiques in Chicago.... and always ran into the same problem. No one listened to me. I would say no strapless dresses and no very full skirts. Everyone kept bringing me exactly what I didn't want. Went to Doris's and felt like my Mom's best friend was there helping me along. Annette, is absolutely superb. And when she asks you what you are looking for in a dress - she actually listens. She talked to me for about 15 minutes before she went back into the recesses of her dress vault. When she returned with six dresses - I was excited to try each of them on. Finally found ""the ONE"". Fittings have been excellent and Annette really knows what she is doing. The dress looks better on each time. The service is worth the drive from the city out to the North. You will not be disappointed! All alterations are done in house.
