My fiance and I decided to get married at the Neport Beach Yacht Club and the lady Penny was very nice. After getting a quote we decided to go for it and put down our deposit after one day we decided to go to another venue which offered a nicer setting for similar price. We notified Penny right away approx 36 hours after we put down our deposit. Once we notified Penny of this change WOW was there a change in our customer service not only was she short on the phone but she said I will look into this and see if we will be able to get your deposit back we never heard from her again. She handed off the phone to Leeson who called us back a hesitantly 5 hours later who said that we will not be getting our deposit back. I was very shocked that they would attempt to keep a deposit which was made 36 hours before, I would definitely understand if it was a few weeks and they lost business because of it but 36 hours. It just goes to show you that they are in the money business not the love business like they say they are before they get their hands on your money.
