My husband and I visited the South Philly location of Sabrina's for the first time a few weeks ago. We had the advantage of not reading or hearing too much about it before we actually dined there, so are impressions weren't colored by any outside opinions. We arrived without call ahead seating just after 9am and were seated immediately. In fact, the place had plenty of patrons, but there were many open tables and no lines. Our service was prompt and friendly and the food was delicious. I indulged in french toast and it lives up to its reputation - stacks of fresh fruit and ricotta cheese. I had to take half home because the portion was so large. As the place started to fill up we did feel a little bit rushed to wrap up our meal and move on out.
Pros: Wonderful food and efficient service
Cons: Very busy during peak hours
