As of Sep. 28th of 2008 a new mandate will be in effect. Any second DUI offense or refusal of alcohol test will be combated with strict 45 day licence suspension, after that if you want to drive, the rest of the suspension will be completed only with an Ignition Interlock. Now that the mandate has been signed the public can breath a little easier.
Pros: Appoinments are made so you don't miss work!
Cons: Still have to work with the courts...
