Contemporary yet grounded, relative, inspirational, friendly and a heart for the community. Excellent teaching & worship. Not as 'expressive' as typical Assemblies of God churches, no rolling in the isles, random speaking in tonges , etc. Not that it wouldn't be allowed if spirit lead, but not the circus scene some people get scared off by. Church events are welcoming and prayer is offered. Small congregation that is growing and caring. I found it most welcoming, and my 16 year old can hold his attention during service because pastor Jim is a great 'teacher', whos style is animated ,humorous, relative and engaging.
Pros: You won't fall asleep:) .. enlightening
Cons: smaller than city churches
