I had my upper and lower eyelids done about 2 years ago - my first venture into plastic surgery - it was done in the office - and I was awake the whole time but was happy becasue I had IV meds on board. Dr. Adams spent time with me in an appointment before the procedure explaining what results I could hope for and possible side effects or complications. They took good care of me. They were friendly and caring. The recovery was a little uncomfortable - there were some little sutures that irritated the fool out of me. And there was a lot of bruising. For a long time I had a lack of sensation along my eyelashes in some places which was a weird feeling. That has all come back now. It was worth it to me - no amazing transformation,just no more sagging eyes making me look chronically tired!
