I tried to make a reservation today and receive a discount for the Arkansas State Championship Horse show and they said the rooms set aside for the discount were full. They had just given another member of our association a discount 30 minutes before. I asked to talk to the same girl that they had spoken with to get their discount and was told that no one by that name worked there. However, my mom called right back after I hung up the phone and they gave her the horse show discount price. I think this is very stingy and underhanded behavior and I wont try to make a reservation with these people again! Other members of our horse show association have said that they are told they will get a discount on the room, but then they have to argue with Holiday Inn to get the discount when they try to reserve their room. I realize that they are in this business to make money, but lying to customers is not good business. more
